Hello! Thanks for visiting today, my card is for the new challenge starting at Make the Cards Challenge, #36. This week we have a sketch challenge, pictured below. If you would like to play along you have until next Tuesday, October 12 at 9:00 p.m. EST.
The QUICK and SIMPLE details: I started out by using the colors from another current challenge, Color My Heart Color Dare. (see photo below) I “smooshed” the bottom portion with some wet distress oxide inks onto some mixed media paper, then splattered it with white paint. I also “smooshed” some pink distressed oxide ink onto mixed media paper to cut the leaves from. Even with the brighter colors I thought the design would work well for a sympathy card, so that’s what sentiment I chose. I added a few pearls to add some extra detail to the background.
