Happy Monday Morning! Today I have a card for the new “Something, Anything, Everything” challenge that is starting at Double Trouble Challenges (#85). What this means is that you are free to enter any creation you want for our one week end of the month challenge.
To make things a little more interesting there is an optional twist by Thing 3 suggesting you look for a yo-yo trick as inspiration. I had a few yo-yo’s growing up, but never could do much with them. I did a little research and found lots of sites that demonstrate all kinds of tricks, so going by the name of one that I knew would work well with the stamp set I wanted to use, I chose a trick called “Hop the Fence.” You can see a quick little demonstration of it here.
As with all our challenges, we always partner up with another challenge, but for our “Something, Anything, Everything” challenge you can choose any past partner you’d like to join, not required but it will give you another entry in the random prize draw. I will be partnering with Crafting Happiness (#98) – which is always “anything goes.”
Please visit the Double Trouble Blog site for all of the details and to link up your creation!
Love this, Melanie! The dogs with the jumping fences are terrific. Great interpretation of a yo-yo trick 🙂
Your card is so cute, Melanie! The stamps are perfect for your chosen yoyo trick. Nicely colored and the patterned paper is a perfect fit. (Would you share the stamp name or the manufacturer? Thank you.)
Really love the “Jump the Fence” yoyo inspiration you created and great sentiment… adorable and fun card.
