Hello and thanks for stopping by today! I have a card to share that was made with several challenges in mind. First I used the colors from the latest challenge at Just Us Girls (#580) – Squeezed Lemonade – Picked Raspberry – and Abandoned Coral. I recognized these as the names of some of the brightest (and one of my favorite) Distress Oxide inks.
I was also inspired to use a new stencil I got from Stamplorations. It is made for a slimline card, you can see the detail in this close up picture. I used a thick, glittery embossing paste that really added a lot of texture and shine!
Other challenges entered:
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – bright and cheerful colors
Crafting Happiness #93 – anything goes
Crafty Catz #547 – anything goes
Stamplorations Stencil Challenge – anything goes with a stencil (using Stamplorations stencil)
Melanie, This card is fabulous! I love the glittery background and your bold blooms. Can you tell me whose flower dies those are? I am thinking MFT? Thanks for making the colors shine at Just Us Girls and for inspiring me to get some sparkly embossing paste too. Have a great day!
Gorgeous STAMPlorations Slimline Stenciled image using your thick glittery embossing paste, Melanie. Can you share the name of the stencil you used? I think it is one I have. I love your pretty added die cut flowers and colors. A real beauty. TFS and joining us at STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge. Hugs….Nancy
