It’s time to start challenge #264 at Cardz 4 Guys, and this time the theme is to make a card that is CAS (clean and simple.) You can choose any topic, colors, or images you want, as long as your card is CAS and appropriate for a guy!
I started this card by masking off an area on the card front to blend some distress oxide inks. I left the masks on and used Versamark embossing ink along with some Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powder to add a pattern and some texture with a little shine to the area. This kind of embossing powder is a little different form most because it is transparent, so it lets the color from underneath show through.
My frog is from a My Favorite Things set, which I colored and cut out, then added to the card with a sentiment and of course a little red heart!
I would like to join in these additional challenges:
CAS Mix Up – Stencil Heat Embossing
Perfectly CAS #11– Stencils using 1/3 or less
Happy Little Stampers – Anything Goes using a stencil
Addicted to CAS #190 – Pattern
