This week’s challenge at Always Fun Challenges (#176) has a theme of “Back to School.”
My card is kind of simple this week. I colored the image with my Copic markers, fussy cut it out, then mounted it on an oval. I used a digital image made by Mo Manning from Mo’s Digital Pencil. There are a lot of reasons I like digital images – do not take up storage space, you can resize them, they are pretty economical. The one drawback is that once filed on the computer they are often forgotten about. Every once in a while I look through the files just to remind myself what I have!
The challenge this week at the Paper Players (#504) is CAS which also has a theme of “Back to School.” Even though I don’t have the typical white space you often see on a CAS card, I have a single image and the simple design is still there. Sometimes keeping it simple is a challenge for me!
Finally I’d like to join in the “anything goes” challenge at Crafting Happiness (#62).
Such a cute little girl and colored so well. The paper is perfect for her trip yo school.
Melanie, this is the sweetest little girl image! I love the bold black and white alphabet paper! Your coloring is amazing, too! I too, struggle with CAS, but I think this is CAS perfection! So happy you made my challenge shine this week at The Paper Players!
Such a sweet little girl and so perfectly colored, and looking pretty smart layered on the b&w alphabet paper. Super cute card, Melanie! Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
Adorable, Melanie! This little girl is a cutie patootie for sure, and you have colored her perfectly! Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
