I am a little slow in joining the current challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare, but not too late yet! The challenge is to create a monochromatic card using only shades of blue.
The leaves and heart frame are from a piece of paper made with a peacock blue alcohol ink. I think it separated or diluted because it looks a little green in the photo. I then cut it out with two different die cuts, and did the same on the other blue papers. I can’t even explain the process, as I ended up with all kinds of pieces, different layers, extra backgrounds, enough stuff to make three more cards if I wanted! In the end it did all go together, and with a couple rhinestones and a sentiment and I was pleased with how it turned out.
Beautiful card! I love the simple design. Thanks for sharing at Color Dare.
