The new challenge at Always Fun Challenges (#173) – is to use a stencil on your card. You have one week to join in!

I used a stencil on this card to apply embossing paste, and while still wet I added a layer of distress embossing glaze. I was careful not to overlap the different colors too much. Once that was heated it left a shiny, transparent glaze over the embossing paste. Even though this is kind of messy and takes a little time, I really like the texture and shine it adds to the background.

The stamp is a flower image from Technique Tuesday that I colored with Copic markers.
