I am honored to be a guest designer over at Colorful Options Challenge this month. Each month a different mood board is featured focusing on one color, but there is always the option to play along using a rainbow color palette as well.
This month the mood board is pictured below, with inspiration for the color green, however I chose to make my card using the rainbow option.
My card started by ink blending a rainbow of colors. I made sure it was dried really well and then used a stencil with embossing ink and pearl embossing powder to create the background pattern. You can see from the photo how the pearl is somewhat translucent, but also shiny.
I used white die cuts to keep the rainbow colors from competing with any other colors, and added a black sentiment strip to finish it off.
