It’s time for a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guys, and we are on challenge #301. The theme this time is “recycle.” I took that to mean using something on my card that would have been thrown away. Please visit the challenge blog for more ideas and inspiration!
I found several things that would have been trash that I used on my card. You can see from the first photo I used a piece of old bubble wrap, the package from a new stamp set, and part of a cardboard box. The bubble wrap is a great way to add some shading and pattern to a piece of ink blended background, just spritz it with water and press it on the panel. You can see the look it created in the second photo.
I used the cellophane package to create the look of wavy, shiny water over the background. I never tried that before but I was very pleased with how it turned out! A close up below shows it pretty well. Finally I used a piece of the cardboard to make the sandy beach on my card.

I totally forgot how bubble wrap makes for such a wonderful watery background! Need to pull some from my trash and have it on hand! Your scene is just so cute! So glad you shared with us at Inky Paws!
