We’re on to a new challenge over at Double Trouble! This time we’re celebrating Christmas in July. Just meet the requirement of Thing 1 by creating something for Christmas and you can enter the challenge. To join in the optional twist follow the color challenge by Thing 3 – the Color My Heart Color Dare Crazy 8 Square. If you do that you can enter your card there too!
I used the top row across, and added a poinsettia for the 4th block. The dies are from a set by Honey Bee Stamps. The wood grain background was made by simply swiping an ink pad down a piece of white card stock.
Joining in these additional challenges:
Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #119 – anything goes for Christmas
Peace on Earth #19 – anything goes for Christmas
Melanie, what a peaceful card you’ve created! I was shocked when I read your description saying you created the woodgrain panel by hand… great job!! This is a great inspiration card for our Double Trouble followers!!! -Donna
