Send a Smile 4 Kids – Sketch Challenge

Hello! I have a card to share today that is for the new challenge starting at the Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a wonderful monthly challenge that encourages participants to donate hand made cards that are distributed for children who are spending time in the hospital. If you would like to read more about what they do check out the details here.

This month the challenge is to create a card based on a sketch of your choice, but remember, you are also free to link up any kid-appropriate card! Be sure to check out the challenge blog for some great ideas and inspiration from the rest of the design team.

Below is the sketch I used, however I went with a horizontal rather than a vertical design.

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • Images from set by Stampin’ Up (“Kangaroo & Company”) -retired
  • Colored with Copic markers and fussy cut
  • Embossed card base before adhering sketch elements
  • Stamped sentiment and die cut with heart

  1. The card design is absolutely delightful! The combination of the embossed base, charming Kangaroo & Company images, and vibrant colors creates such a cheerful and heartwarming vibe. It’s clear a lot of thought and creativity went into every detail.
