Hello! I have a card to share today that is for the new challenge starting at the Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a wonderful monthly challenge that encourages participants to donate hand made cards that are distributed for children who are spending time in the hospital. This month the challenge is to create a card based on a sketch of your choice, but remember, you are also free to link up any kid-appropriate card! Be sure to check out the challenge blog for some great ideas and inspiration from the rest of the design team.
Below is the sketch I used, however I went with a horizontal rather than a vertical design.
The Quick and Simple Details:
- Images from set by Stampin’ Up (“Kangaroo & Company”) -retired
- Colored with Copic markers and fussy cut
- Embossed card base before adhering sketch elements
- Stamped sentiment and die cut with heart
The card design is absolutely delightful! The combination of the embossed base, charming Kangaroo & Company images, and vibrant colors creates such a cheerful and heartwarming vibe. It’s clear a lot of thought and creativity went into every detail.
