Addicted to CAS #269 – Wood

Today I am sharing a card for the new challenge starting at Addicted to CAS Challenge.

Every other Saturday an new challenge begins featuring a specific “code word” which is to be used as the inspiration for your card. You’ll have two weeks to play along if you want, and be sure to visit the challenge blog to see what the other designers have created!

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • Unsure of who made the image, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut
  • Created background by using a negative circle mask and stamping “Spooky” stamp over it
  • Finished background by softly ink blending into the circle
  • Added sentiment along the bottom by slightly curving around the edge of the circle and using the Misti
  • Added some Sparkles to eyes and mouth to finish it off

  1. He has such personality! Was the “spooky” stamp a large background stamp or just one word that you repeatedly stamped to make your own background? I always forget that any smaller stamp can become a background stamp if you stamp it many times. Especially word stamps like this one…it’s the perfect backdrop. Great job!
