Hello! I have a card to share today that is for the new challenge starting at the Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a wonderful monthly challenge that encourages participants to donate hand made cards that are distributed for children who are spending time in the hospital. If you would like to read more about what they do check out the details here.
This month the challenge is to create a kid’s birthday themed card, but you are also free to link up any kid-appropriate card. Be sure to check out the challenge blog for some great ideas and inspiration from the rest of the design team!
The Quick and Simple Details:
- Birds created by stenciling from a set by Concord & 9th
- Glitter added to wings for some extra sparkle
HI Melanie! You’ve created such a fun, happy birthday card. So fun! So happy! I might just have to break down and buy that stencil because those birdies are too cute and I love those touches of glitter. They add just the right amount of sparkle to your birdies. 🙂
Melanie, these birds are so fun and whimsical. I love the colors and patterned papers you chose for this fabulous birthday card!
Those stencilled birds are just fab!
