Today I made a quick card using the colors from the current challenge at the Paper Players (#676).
I also wanted to play along with a new challenge blog for their second challenge, called Word Power Challenge. The concept is to create a card where the words are the main focus of your card, any theme or topic is ok!
Also joining in at Craft Rocket Challenge #111 – Birthday
The Quick and Simple Details:
- Happy Birthday from Stampin’ Up, cut on white glitter paper
- Embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp
- Flowers from Lawn Fawn die (“Spring Flowers Backdrop”)
What a pretty birthday card. I love the embossed background and the way the white sentiment pops off this gray! The sweet little flowers add so much detail. So happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week!

Melanie this is just lovely! I’m particularly taken with the embossed background and I love the sparkle of the bold diecut sentiment, with those pink flowers the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for playing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
Gosh, this is just beautiful! I may have to hop over to SSS to take a wee little peek and see if that EF is still available! Such a lovely card using a sentiment as your focal point! Thanks for playing with the Players this week and using my colors!
