The time to mail your Christmas cards is getting closer and closer!

We have a new challenge starting today with a theme of “Christmas animals or birds.” If you still need to create a few more cards we hope you’ll play along and share them with us before you mail them! Check out the details at the Sparkles Christmas Challenge blog and to see some more inspiration from the rest of the design team.

All the dies I used on my card were just purchased from Spellbinders. The mailbox was not too much work, but that little bird has a lot more (little!) pieces than it looks like!

I embossed the background and inked up the edges to tie in the blue, and to make the red have a little more pop. I added a few more die cut details (also from other Spellbinders sets) to finish it off.
