Time to start a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guys (#336). This time the theme we are looking for is “festive critters.” All the details, dates, and some more inspiration is on the challenge blog, so be sure to check it out!
The stamp I used is from Penny Black, one of the wooden stamps I’ve had around for a long time but never inked up. This theme seemed to be the right occasion to finally get it out! I colored it with Copic markers, die cut the image and matted it. The base of the card was dry embossed, and once all assembled I added some gray splatters to give it a look of a little bit of texture.
Additional Challenges:
Peace on Earth #52 – anything goes for Christmas
We Love Stamping – Christmas Characters
As You Like It – favorite Christmas critter and why – I am definitely loyal dog-lover, they are the cutest to make into stamps (which after flowers is probably the most plentiful topic in my collection!)
My Time to Craft #521 – Got to Be Christmas
Simon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge – “Season’s Greetings”
What a fun trio of animals and clearly the doggie in the middle is in charge of things judging by his face, love it, many thanks for sharing with us at We Love Stamping challenge.
