It’s time to start the October challenge over at Sparkles Christmas Challenge! Challenge #153 is looking for Christmas flowers and/or foilage. This is a month long challenge.
My card uses the inlaid die cut technique. I believe the poinsettia die is from Memory Box (but I don’t guarantee that!) It was cut out in glitter white, gray, and red. I then used the white frame and filled in the other pieces. I find this technique can be very relaxing, that is until you get to the end and can’t find one of the pieces. When that happens I just cut out the one little missing area and usually find the missing piece right after that!
Joining in these additional challenges:
Little Red Wagon #724 – Layer upon layer
Peace on Earth #49 – anything goes for Christmas
Crafty Catz #652 – anything goes

So very pretty, Melanie – love the inlaid design! I’d like a window like this in my house, lol.
The dies you used here is so effective with the inlaid elements, many thanks for sharing at Allsorts challenge.
