Hello! I have a special card today, which I made for the new challenge starting Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a great organization that facilitates the making and donating of hand made children’s cards to hospitals. They are then used to by the hospitals to give out to the children in their care. You can find more specific details on the challenge site if you are interested in helping.
Other than creating a card that is appropriate for a child, the theme for this month’s challenge is “Birthday.”
My card today features images from Lawn Fawn, which I think make some of the cutest stamps that are perfect for children’s cards. This is from a set called “Just Plane Awesome.” The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn, which I heat embossed in white and then ink blended to add the color.
The challenge runs through September 1 if you ‘d like to join in!
