Today is the start of the July challenge over at the Paper Funday Challenge. The theme is always “anything goes” but there’s also an optional twist you can play along with. For July the optional twist is “use red, white, and blue” on your card or project.
There are also a couple of sponsor’s this month, Sheepski Designs and Leann’s World 101. You don’t have to use their images to enter, but whether you do or not, they each still offer a prize for a randomly drawn entry. Everyone has a chance to win!
The image I used is from Leann’s World 101 called “shark” , which I colored with Copic markers and fussy cut for my card. The background was made by using some distress oxide sprays over a stencil. I cut it twice with a rectangular die cut so I could raise the middle without losing any of the background. Some seaweed and stones were die cut, a sentiment heat embossed, and some bubble embellishments were added to finish it off.
