Can You Handle the Pressure has a new challenge starting today! This challenge requires that you must use an embossing folder while creating your card. The theme is always “anything goes, ” however there’s also an optional twist you can play along with each time if you want. For this challenge the optional twist is “butterflies.”
My card started with ink blending a background, using yellow and pink, with an orange result where they overlap. I used a butterfly die from Hero Arts, and added a scalloped frame around it. Tthe texture from the embossing folder was sanded to remove a little of the color and make the dimension show up a little more. To finish it off I added a sentiment and stamped “Happy Birthday” on the inside.

Oh wow, this whole thing is simply stunning. I love the pink and yellow blend on that background, it really makes the white butterflies pop. And using black as a card base is the perfect final touch. Just gorgeous!!
