I have the pleasure of being on the design teams at Festive Friday and Double Trouble, and today is the start of a special collaboration challenge. We hope you’ll check out the details, and find you are able to participate in both!
At Festive Friday the new challenge starting today is featuring βFather’s Day.β Just use any three items from the Inspo List below and you are qualified to enter (any theme is ok). At Double Trouble Challenge the only requirement to enter is from Thing 1, to create a masculine card. There is also an optional challenge from Thing 3, to use plaid/checks on your card. With a little coordination it is likely you will qualify to enter both!
The items I used from the Inspo List were masculine, brads, plaid/checks, and sports. The stamps are from a Newton’s Nook set. I stamped and colored the image and did a little paper piecing with the same plaid paper I used for the background.
We hope you are inspired to join in, and will visit both blogs for more ideas. The galleries will be open through June 8, so lots of time to play along!

Absolutely adorable image and a terrific card for a dad.
Oh, that golf bear is too darn cute! Love the plaid cap and shorts, adorable!
Love how you pieced the golfers shorts and hat with the same plaid you used in the background. The stitched frames and the scene you created are perfect. Adorable and fun masculine card.
Another cute golfing card! This is so cute, Melanie! The plaid goes so perfectly with the theme of this card. Love it! π
Melanie your little golfer is so cute and I love his paper-pieced plaid plus-fours! Fab card!
