Can You Handle the Pressure has a new challenge starting today! This challenge requires that you must use an embossing folder while creating your card. The theme is always “anything goes, ” however there’s also an optional twist you can play along with each time if you want. For this challenge the optional twist is “baby.”
I had collected quite a few pastel colored scraps from some Easter cards so decided to use them to make some letters for my baby cards, a boy and girl version. Instead of going with the word BABY I found a cute sentiment in an old set that went with LOVE. I added them to an embossed background (Taylored Expressions “quarterfoil” folder). The safety pin is an old wood block stamp from Stampin’ Up.
This is BEAUTIFUL my friend and what a great way to use up those scraps! Love that embossed background and the big safety pin is perfect! Thanks for always sharing such inspiration creations! GREAT JOB Mel!
Wonderfully created baby cards, so cleverly cute, I must remember this design for future use, very inspiring!!
Oh my gosh, Melanie, this is just the sweetest baby card. I love the simplicity and how you have used the different patterned papers for the letters. And the little ducky safety pin is the perfect final touch. FABULOUS!!!
