Hello! I have a special card today, which I made for the new challenge starting today Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a great organization that facilitates the making and donating of hand made children’s cards to hospitals. They are then used to by the hospitals to give out to the children in their care. You can find more specific details on the challenge site if you are interested in helping.
Other than creating a card that is appropriate for a child, the theme for this month’s challenge is “Love and/or Valentine’s Day.”
I used an image from Newton’s Nook on my card, and placed it on a border of hearts that was created with embossing paste through a stencil. The sentiment strip finished my card!
Would like to join in these additional challenges:
Word Art Wednesday #577/578 – anything goes
Creative Knockouts #485 – anything goes
Crazy for Cats #3 – anything goes with a cat
Hi, Melanie! Can’t think of a better way to start a new year at SAS4Kids than have you join us as a Guest Designer. Thank you so much for once again sharing your talents with us! This card is very sweet and has a wonderful CAS design. And I have to mention how much I love that embossed “border” strip. It is perfect! Take good care, Melanie. All the best in 2023
Love the sweet kitties and the texture the embossing paste added. Thanks for being part of the SAS4Kids team!
