Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! This is our third Thursday of the month so we are having our Clean and Simple challenge. In general, a CAS card should have a lot of open/white space, minimal layers and embellishments, and one main focal point.
This card is my own version of a card I made from a class in the Scrapbook and Cards Today virtual cardmaking event. The elf die is from Spellbinders. I normally am not a big fan of cutting out and gluing together so many tiny little pieces, but since this elf turned out so cute I thought it was worth the effort!
Thank you to our guest chicks this month! I invite you to visit their blogs, Mandy from Made by Mandy and Helen Nile from Made by Helen, as well as the other chicks blogs for more ideas and inspiration!
Leanne – Banking on Crafts
Diane – Ink Outside the Box
Lori – Caffeinated Creativity (on break)
Happy Crafting and hope to see you join us in the Krafty Chick’s gallery this week!
Joining in these additional challenges:
My Time to Craft Christmas #47 – elves or gnomes
Christmas With the Cuties #65 – anything cute goes for Christmas
The Fairy and the Unicorn – anything mythical or magical
Girl, the background has WoW factor!!! Love the elf and the color. Wonderful card friend, have a great day! Hugs, L:)
The turquoise blue makes the wintery Christmas card modern! The elf is a cute choice! Perfect for MTTCC’s elves or gnomes theme! –Becca/DT
Melanie: It’s me again! I’ve added to my DT and owner role this week by making an agreement to take over ownership of The Fairy and The Unicorn Challenge blog which was last owned by Lisa Jannaway. Anything fantasy/mythical/mystical is accepted so elves are welcome if you’d like to add as a linkup. Thought I’d share this with you. –Becca/DT & owner
