I just got some new embossing paste (actually lunar paste made by Simon Hurley), and it’s almost the same as one of the colors in the latest color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches (#492), so I thought I’d give the challenge a try. I used a stencil from Spellbinders to make the background. It turns out the colors were a bit challenging for me, but I did come up with something!
I would also like to join in the challenge at Stencil Fun, which is a new challenge that just started this month. You can enter with any theme you want, as long as you use a stencil on your card. There’s also an optional twist that you can play along with if you want.

Such a beautiful card, Melanie! I love how you used lunar paste over the stencil, I think it’s a perfect partial background to your pretty bouquet! Thank you for joining us this week at CC&S!
