I love fall cards and wanted to use one of my favorite fall stamps for the newest challenge at the Paper Players (#609) where the theme is to make a clean and simple card with leaves and/or a scarecrow.
The image was stamped and colored on the white panel and then die cut with the wonky stitched rectangle. I can’t tell who the stamp was made by, it’s so old the words are faded off! To give my card more of a fall feel I hunted down some rafia and a small wooden acorn to finish it off.
Joining in these additional challenges:
Passion For Markers #659 – Use a rubber or clear stamp
Crafting Happiness #133– Autumn/fall theme
Word Art Wednesday #561/562 – Anything goes

Wonderful card! I love that scarecrow. Thanks for linking up last week at Crafting Happiness Challenges. This week the card theme is trees – it can be a forest, a leaf, a Christmas tree, etc. The Not a card theme is always anything goes and doesn’t have to follow the theme. Hope you’ll share more of your art with us! Sorry for the delay in commenting, but we’ve been in the process of moving and still trying to sort and unpack this week.
