We have a new challenge starting over at Cardz 4 Guys (#305) with a theme of “distressing.” I don’t think there are any real specific rules on how you want to interpret that, so as long as we can see that your creation follows that in some way, and of course your card is appropriate for a guy, then we encourage you to join the gallery!

I stuck with distressing the background, I used distress oxide inks and watered them down. I then smooshed a piece of mixed media paper in them, let them dry, and did it again. When completely dry the image was stamped with black ink and I heat embossed some clear powder over it to add a little shine and give contrast to the background.
