Today I have a card for the new challenge starting at Sparkles Christmas Challenge (#140) The theme for the month of September is “Clean and Simple.” (CAS) Generally a CAS card has lots of white/open space, minimal embellishments and layers, and one main focal point. Challenge will be open until the end of the month.

I used a stamp from a mixed media set to add clear Versamark ink to the background and then heat embossed with silver powder. It adds a lot of texture without adding additional layers. The music notes are a die cut from Simon Says Stamp, and the sentiment is one I pulled out of my previously made stash.
