A new challenge is up at the Four Seasons Challenge blog. This is our last month for featuring anything relating to “Summer.” We have provided an inspiration board to give you some ideas, however you are free to enter any card or project that has a summer theme. Check out the blog to get some more ideas from the rest of the design team!
Since my card was created with no real plan in mind, I ended up using images, dies, and supplies from several companies, as well as some things that were already made in my “bits and pieces” basket. It’s such a fun way to come up with ideas, and always nice to use something that you decided not to throw away! The sandy shore is some kraft paper that was torn, a great way to add some texture.
Super fun and creative summer scene and I wish I were there myself right about now!! Yes it’s always a plus to be able to use up some of those extra pieces we have laying around!!
I love what you’ve ‘put together’ today Mel … what a fun summer time day at the beach scene. I’m a ‘flip-flop freak’ so the added flip-flops made me smile! lol Well done my friend!
What a fun beach scene you created here! Love the sparkly waves! I always look through my “extras” basket whenever I think my card needs something else but I’m not sure what. You found all the right pieces in yours to come up with this fabulous card!
Your sandy shore is great and I love the sea. The sand actually looks real. A great summer card.
Great summer scene, love the die cut waves! Well Done Teamie!
What a FUN Summer card, Mel. Your art is always so inspiring. I hope you’ll come over to Word Art Wednesday to share your creations. You could be our next lucky winner.
Blessings,
Your DT Teammate, Karen
