The new challenge starting today at Make the Cards Challenge #60 is a a simple technique challenge – use a black cardstock background. Other than that feel free to use any products, theme, and techniques you want! Please visit the challenge blog for some inspiration from the rest of the team.

I dry embossed the black card front, and added a panel with some very soft color (from alcohol ink). I stamped over it with the vine image, and I felt this had the feel for a sympathy card so I used a sentiment I had already made from my bits and pieces basket. A couple black pearls were added to finish it off.
