Krafty Chicks Challenge #622 – All Occasions

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! Today we are starting our Week 4 challenge – “All Occasions.” Just create any card or project that you could use for any occasion, the sky is the limit!

I made a water colored background by “smooshing” my card stock in some wet inks. The poinsettia image is from Unity Stamp Company, I heat embossed it in green, and water colored the greenery. I stamped it again in silver and carefully cut out just the flower, which I then put over the other image. I used a silver doily for the background, and added some Nuvo drops for the berries. A few white splatters and some white shimmer spray finished it off.

  3. This is the perfect way to make & color a poinsettia … I have a terrible time with the 3-4 layers of dies & lining them up to look good!! LOL This is sweet perfection and so pretty in the white. I love a white poinsettia.
