Hello and thank you for visiting! The card I am sharing today was inspired by the challenge over at {Pin}spirational Challenges, which happens to be in recognition of their 10th year! That is a lot of time and dedication by Deanne, so thank you to her for all the work to keep it going.

When I saw the inspirational photo I loved the soft shades of pink and I knew I had just the right stamp set, and that it also had several motivational sentiments in it. I think most would agree these past couple of years have left the feeling that some encouragement and motivation are more than welcome! The set is made by Technique Tuesday and called “Adventure Awaits.”

I started with a stencil for the background, but when I decided to give it a little spritz of water to soften it up I ended up losing the lines of the stencil. Luckily I still liked the look so decided to go with it! I stamped, colored, and cut out the luggage image, added the sentiment, and since I liked the small, pink flowers on the photo I wanted to incorporate those somewhere. I went with a vase and flowers from a Stampin’ Up set called “Varied Vases.” A few sequins were added to finish is off.
