Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! This week is our clean and simple challenge (CAS). Typically that means one focal point, minimal layers and embellishments, and a lot of open or white space.
I used a scrap of vellum I had colored with alcohol inks and put the silver butterfly die cut over it, then I carefully trimmed the edges. To keep the card CAS and let the butterfly be the main focal point I just mounted it on a white piece of card stock. The texture in the background was done by embossing with another die cut. Finally I added the sentiment by putting it in the Misti to follow the curve of the circle, another great use for the Misti. I couldn’t resist adding a few clear sequins to give it a little more shine!

So pretty my friend. I love it.

That butterfly has WOWeee factor, great card, and nice embossing too. Have a great day! Cheers, L:)
