Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! It’s week 3 of the month, so that means we are having our CAS (clean and simple) challenge. Our gallery will be open until Feb. 23, at 12:00 p.m. (MST) if you would like to join us!
I found the background paper in my stash, already embossed, and cut it out with a deckle-edged die. The flower is from Altenew, water colored with Zig markers. I chose a sympathy theme because the way the flower turned out didn’t seem so bright and cheerful to me (plus the sentiment strip was already made!)
We hope you will visit our guest desinger Heather’s blog, as well as the other chicks blogs for more ideas and inspiration!

This is lovely, Melanie! What a pretty flower and I love the embossed background! May I ask who makes that embossing folder? Thanks for the inspiration!
This is a wonderful card I like the flower and the coloring is so awesome, great embossing on the card friend! Happy Crafting! Cheers, L:)
Such a pretty card Melanie. Sympathy cards are one of my hardest ones to make. Very nice card.
