Exciting news! Today is the start of a brand new challenge – Can You Handle the Pressure? – which is all about embossing. All the challenges will be anything goes, as long as you use an embossing folder when creating your card. There will also be an optional twist that you can play along with if you want. Heat embossing is welcome too, but dry embossing is required! The challenges will start on the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, and end the Wednesday before the next one starts.

I was excited to join the design team for this new challenge since I have a huge collection of embossing folders. To get started, the first challenge has an optional theme of “pink.” I decided to make my card in the mini-slimline size. I used one of my smaller folders that is only a couple inches wide to add the texture. I will admit I rarely use those smaller sized folders, but was really pleased with the look it created for this card.
