Double Trouble is starting a new challenge today (#103). The graphic below gives a good summary, but be sure to visit the blog for all the details!
Thing 1 – the only requirement to enter – choose at least three colors from the photo
Thing 3 – option to include a heart on your card or project
Thing 2 – Double Dare – if you met both of those challenges then play along with the challenge at Inspiration Station
My card came about from another challenge I was playing along with, which was to use the little label strips on a card. They were plain and white when I started, so I used a brayer to color them and then a folder to emboss the hearts. I arranged them to make a background, and added a heart with a key charm to serve as the focal point. This was definitely outside of what I normally would make, but kind of fun to think of something a little different!
Pretty colors, Melanie! The red is a real surprise to see. I especially like the way you used the label strips. Great texture, too.
Love the strips of colors from the “sweet color” inspiration and the embossed hearts and the pop of the red heart. The strips remind me of legos.
Brilliant way to use the strips! Great card Melanie, Thanks for sharing your lovely project with us at The Inspiration Station Challenge. Donna
Oh Mel this is just AWESOME! What a clever idea! Beautiful inspiration! Thanks so much for playing in our challenge at Inspiration Station!
