Patterned paper and penguins – that’s what you need for our new challenge at Double Trouble! We’re on challenge #101, and below you can find a summary of what it’s all about. In short, Thing 1 would like you to use at least 3 different patterned papers. That’s the only thing required to join in the challenge. If you would like to take the next step, Thing 3 is an optional twist of including a penguin on your card or project. Finally, Thing 3 is asking you to join in at the challenge over at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday, with the sketch you see below.

Even though this stamp was probably more intended for Christmas (made by Rubberneckers and called “Caroling Penguins”) I decided to use it for a birthday card. I colored it to match my papers and followed the sketch. The hardest part was cutting apart the HB2U stamp to put on the song book!
Such a charming quartet, Melanie! Your colorful patterned papers add to the festive vibe and the thought of penguins singing made me smile.
Those singing penguins are too cute for words! Great use of the penguins for a birthday card!
Melanie – what a super cute card!! Your coloring is REALLY nice, and how you patched in the HB2U on the song book is so clever!!! Thank you for using our Try Stampin’ on Tuesday sketch so creatively!!! -Donna
Your design papers are as happy as the chorus of penguins singing Happy Birthday. Adorable and fun card.
What a great birthday card! That little choir of penguins is so cute. All the pattern papers go perfectly together! 🙂
What a cute birthday card. I love all of the bright patterned paper and that all of them were perfect for this birthday theme! Thank you for sharing your wonderful card with us at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday and we hope you join us again!
