Hello and welcome! Today is the start of the first challenge of 2022 at Make the Cards Challenge (#46). Our challenge is to create any card that offers encouragement to someone. There are no restrictions on what products, techniques, or style you use, and we encourage you to combine your card with other challenges. We will now be running on a two week challenge, so hopefully you will have a little more time to join us!
My card was an attempt at doing some partial die cutting after I watched a video by Jennifer McGuire (HERE). It took a couple of tries, but I did manage to get the look I wanted (although my middle strip is a little uneven!) The background was die cut with a plate that makes the piercing but doesn’t actually cut. I added a few enamel dots to finish it off.
So very pretty Melanie! LOVE the color and design!
Beautiful card Melanie! I love the simplicity of it! I feel like I need to simplify my work sometimes! Love it! 💕
Great job with the die cutting, love the stitched background!
Your card is beautiful Melanie. Love your partial die-cutting and the colors too. Great job.
