The new theme over at the Alphabet Challenge is “S” for silver. I took a break from the Christmas cards I have been making and went with a new floral stamp.
I have always liked black with silver, and as I was going through my papers I found this black and white check I thought would be pretty with some silver. I heat embossed the flower image with silver, and then colored it in with a silver shimmer marker. It sparkles very nicely in real life!
I wanted to add a little more silver so I mounted the checks on silver glitter paper. After die cutting and adhering the image I added a few silver sequins as a final touch.

Love those flowers embossed in silver against the black Melanie. Really elegant!
Wow, this is so pretty, Melanie! I really love the flower you chose to go with the great designer paper. Yes, the color combo is classic!! I hope you have lovely time with family and friends. Stay safe. Hugs!
Such an elegant, timelessly beautiful card. I adore the marriage of silver glitter paper with classic B&W plaid. Stellar combo!
