Hello! We have a fun new challenge starting today here at Double Trouble. The graphic below gives a good summary, but be sure to visit the blog to get all the details, and to check out the rest of the design team’s inspiration.
As always, the only thing required to join the challenge is to meet the criteria for Thing 1. This time Thing 1 is asking you to find any special day in December to use as the theme for your card. There are a lot of crazy, fun, and unusual days you can choose from and several websites that will give you the details. I chose Go Caroling Day – Monday, December 20.
The optional challenge from Thing 3 is to use a number on your card, I went with “2022” to fit in with the Happy New Year message on my sentiment.
Finally, Thing 2 invites you to join in our partner’s challenge over at the Paper Funday Challenge, where they always have a theme of “anything goes.”
The stamps I used were from Lawn Fawn, a set called “Here We Go A-Wadddling.” I used a background cover die to add the stitched snowflakes, and the numbers are from My Favorite Things. To give it a little more sparkle I added some glitter glue to the sentiment edges and the snowbank.
The details on your card are great – the background with the snow banks and the street lamp! And who could resist those adorable penguins?!
What a cute scene you created and the embossing in the background is perfect for your cute caroling penguins and love the big bold 2022. Adorable card.
This is a wonderful holiday scene, Melanie! Each element is placed perfectly and I especially like stitched snowflakes.
These little singing penguins are adorable! Great use of numbers by putting 2022 on your card too! 🙂
