Good morning, and hope you are having a great weekend. I wanted to join a few challenges and found some great inspiration this morning!
The colors at Color My Heart Color Dare (#459) were a little different this time, and one of my favorite combinations.
I also saw the challenge at Just Us Girls (#600) which is to use 6 of anything. I found the leaf stamp in my stash, but it only had 5 leaves on it. After stamping a second image, a little careful cutting and rearranging, I was able to re-create my branch with 6 leaves!
Finally, I would like to join in the challenges at AAA Cards (#198) with a theme of 1/3 or less, optional “leaves” and the challenge at Addicted to CAS (#205) with a theme of nature.
The QUICK and SIMPLE details: The stamp is from Reverse Confetti. I heat embossed it on some matte finished gold card stock twice. I did it twice, because as mentioned above, I wanted to turn the 5 leaves into 6. I glued the new image onto the background, which I previously used with a piercing die. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with clear powder to give it a little shine.
I love the clean lines and the simplicity of this card. The leaves are the focal point and they stand out perfectly! Thanks for sharing with us at Colour Dare 🙂
What a wonderful CAS sympathy card, Melanie. So creative of you to adapt that leaf branch to fit the challenge. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.

Lovely CAS card. I love the background you created with the piercing die – great way to add some design without taking away from the clean and simple feel of your card. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS.
