It’s Festive Friday and we have a new challenge for you today! This time we are celebrating International Day of Peace, and that is what we used to come up with the 10 items on our Inspo List. To join in the challenge just choose any 3 (or more) of the items to use on your card or project, whether you reflect the festivity or not, that is is up to you!
The items from the list that I used on my card were white, leaves, die cut, and spritzing.
The die cut I used is from Paper Roses (called “Gum Leaf Border”). I trimmed it into a strip and put some white card stock behind it. Before I adhered it to the card base I spritzed it with some white, shimmery mist. I think you can see it a little bit in the close up photo below, but in real life it really has a bright and vibrant look. I dry embossed the base with a striped folder, and heat embossed the sentiment. Finally I added a few little white rhinestones to accentuate the sentiment.

Wow! Love your card Melanie!
I love the horizontal embossing paired with the vertical white die cut strip. Wonderful effect. A beautiful make for our challenge.
Oh, Melanie! This is stunning! I love the color. The leaf border is to die for! I also like the embossed striped card base. You have the BEST embossing folders!
