Even though it’s not our normal day for the start of a new challenge, we are changing it up a little and starting our new challenge today over at Double Trouble!
This time Thing 1 is asking that you use any combination of patterns on your card – plaids, polka dots, or any kind of pattern you have. If you do that you are eligible to enter. If you want to add the option of what Thing 3 is asking for then just include at least 3 colors from the color palette shown below. That is from our partner challenge, Color My Heart Color Dare, so if you decide to play along with that option you can enter your card/project there as well!
The QUICK and SIMPLE details: I used two different papers from my stash for the background, both are from Stampin’ Up. The image is from Hero Arts, a set called “Stitched Flowers.” I stamped the image and colored the blue with Copic markers. I then stamped it again several times on the orange patterned and cut out the flowers so I could piece them onto the first image. I used foam tape to raise up the whole flower image. I glued some water drop embellishments to add a little more interest to the background.
This is so pretty – I really like the split panel design and the patterns you used.
