Starting a new challenge today at Always Fun Challenges (#224) – our theme this time is to use a stencil.
I have to confess that this card came together by using some random things out of my “bits and pieces” basket. I really am not a big saver, however sometimes I have leftover things that are just too good to throw away. Well that is where the gray background piece came from – I had stenciled several bigger backgrounds and that was a leftover piece. I die cut it so the edges would look even. The leaves were also saved from an earlier card, I made way too many of them and since they were water colored, splattered, and fussy cut I had too much invested to just throw them away!
You can’t see the inside, but I used a sentiment that says “Thanks for all you do,” to finish it off.
If you would like to join the challenge just do some stenciling and link up over at Always Fun before the challenge closes on Saturday, 7/31.
