I have a card for you today that was inspired by the new challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I have seen quite a few posts and cards already this month with a “Christmas in July” theme, so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon! The sketch is posted below, you can use any theme you want, and you have until Sunday, July 11 to link up your card or project.
The QUICK and SIMPLE details: The three patterned papers are from Stampin’ Up, which I cut with some rectangular dies made by My Favorite Things. I used some thin twine to go around the whole base, and a fancy edged die to mount the sentiment on (sentiment from a Stampin’ Up kit). This is a very simple card, but the foil in the papers give it a little bit more of a fancy look.
Additional challenges:
Jingle Belles Challenge – stars and stripes
Christmas 24 Challenge #37 – add some twine
Merry Little Christmas Challenge #36 – anything goes Christmas
Dragonfly Dreams – Christmas in July
Really lovely card, great use of pattern papers. Thanks for joining Christmas 24 Challenge. Anesha
