Time to play with some of my summer themed stamps, after all it was 115 degrees here today! It’s days like this where the best place to stay is in the craft room.
The QUICK and SIMPLE details: Stamps are from Lawn Fawn, except the umbrella is from My Favorite Things. I stamped that on white, then again on the three orange prints so I could cut them out and paper piece them on the white. The sun was stenciled, and the sand created with Copic markers (did a little stippling/dotting to give it some texture.) I also used a little die that came with the My Favorite Things set that was just those tiny holes you can see in the close up below. The seagull was stamped right on the paper, the other stamps were colored and fussy cut. To make the wavy background I used a die that I ran through with an embossing pad, but since I had to do it multiple times I think it pretty much flattened out the impressions. I should have used an embossing folder! 😎
