My card today has a technique on it that you may not even notice, but the background is made by using cling wrap with an ink pad. It kind of looks like it is printed paper, but it’s not, and what makes it a great (and super easy) technique is that you can create it to match the ink or paper on the rest of your card and it gives the look of some texture.
I used butterflies from two different sets, one from Simon Says Stamp, and one from Rubberneckers. I heat embossed them with a white glitter powder on vellum, then cut them out. The rest of the card is pretty simple, I used the ideas from several challenges for my finishing details.
