It’s time for another fun challenge at Double Trouble, and this time we are looking for a card that is made for a girl or lady. If you want to play along all you need to do is meet the challenge of Thing 1 – which is to include some patterned paper on your card or project. If you want to join in the additional challenge of Thing 3 then add some bling – pearls, ribbon, rhinestones, sequins, or anything to embellish your card.
Finally, we are partnering with Stinkin’ Inkers Challenge this time, so if you have made a card that’s good for a girl or lady you are eligible to link up there too.
I used an embossing folder to add some texture to just one side of my card. The flower is from a Stampin’ Up kit, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. I used quite a few embellishments – pearls, vellum leaves, some ribbon, and a tiny heart to finish it off!
Playing along in these additional challenges:
Creative Knockouts #401 – Flower Power
Cute Card Thursday #686 – Embellish
Fab ‘n’ Funky #523 – Embellish It
As You Like It – Favorite way to use ribbon – I sometimes use ribbon for bows, but my favorite way to use ribbon is as a divider or strip to join two different papers or sides of a card
Let’s Squash It #8 – only partially emboss and add some bling
This is so pretty – that flower is gorgeous and I really like the vellum stems.
Very pretty, lovely colouring and the embossed pattern goes so well with the flower shape!
This is lovely – your colour combo and that flower are gorgeous. I really like that the un-embossed portion of your card is patterned. Thanks for playing at Let’s Squash It!
Love how you colored your flower. I also love the double banners. So pretty!
A beautiful floral card. Thank you for joining in at As You Like It. Lynne DT
