The theme for the new challenge this week at Always Fun Challenges (#213) is “Mother’s Day.” This challenge will be open through 5/15, hope you will visit the blog and link up your creation!
I started by cutting a scallop edged rectangle, then cut out a rectangle from the middle. I wanted to make the frame stand out so I put it through an embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment on another piece of white to fit under the opening, and put the frame around it on foam tape.
The flowers are from Technique Tuesday, which I colored with Copic markers and then fussy cut. I finished by adhering them diagonally over the opening of the frame.
