Lots of challenges for Mother’s Day and flowers, so I decided to get out one of my favorite flower sets (from Honey Bee Stamps) and spend a little time coloring. The only tricky thing I did on this card was to mask the flowers so I could make them appear to go over the edge of the vase. I colored with my go-to Copic markers, and added some glitter glue over the yellow to add some sparkle. I wanted a few random spots in the background but ended up with a bit more than I planned – kept filling in where it seemed “too white”!
I loved the photo from the challenge so that is what I started with. The other challenges I’d like to play along with are all celebrating Mother’s Day or have a theme of flowers!

Beautiful!! Those flowers are so pretty! I love all the “splatter” in the background; I don’t think it is too much at all! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
